Definition: personal radio service

Following are the personal radio services used by the general public that are covered in this encyclopedia. Personal radio services provide radio communications between two parties and have nothing to do with one-way AM, FM or HD Radio broadcasting. Wi-Fi and cellular are not personal radio services.
